Exploring a Coffee Shop Near KSL City Mall
This morning, we visited a coffee shop located a short 5-10 minute walk from KSL City Mall. We ordered a few items and are excited to share our thoughts on them. Stay tuned to see what we ordered and what we think!
Our First Order: Char Kway Teow
First up is the Char Kway Teow, which cost 12 Ringgit. We upsized it, and we'll let you know if it's worth it.
Prawn Noodles and Coffee
Next, we ordered the prawn noodles for 10 Ringgit. I also requested a coffee that wasn't too sweet, and it costs 2.50 Ringgit. So far so good!
Chicken Rice
The third item is chicken rice, priced at 7 Ringgit. I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not sure if it's good.
Taste Test and Initial Impressions
I tasted the Char Kway Teow, and to be honest, it's the flavor I've been looking for. Keep in mind that taste is subjective. It may be tasty to me but not to others. The Char Kway Teow is very fragrant and has flavorful cockles and fishcake. I give it a thumbs up!
My husband says the broth of the prawn noodles is good. Now, let me try the chicken rice. The fragrance is there, just right, and the chili is hot and spicy. The chicken is flavorful and tender. At 7 Ringgit, the chicken rice is a go for us.
More on the Char Kway Teow
I love this Char Kway Teow. I've been searching for this flavor. My husband likes it, but he mentions that the flavor isn't the traditional type of Char Kway Teow.

Final Verdict
The 12 Ringgit Char Kway Teow (upsized) with lots of cockles, fishcake, and bean sprouts is a pass for me. My husband loves the broth of the prawn noodles, and I love the noodle texture. The prawn noodles are also a good one. Overall, all three dishes are a pass for us!
